Flood Consultants Network (“FCN”) provides educational and consulting services to help property owners and condominium associations prepare for and navigate flood insurance claims. By using our materials, services, or website, you agree to the following:

1. Scope of Services

DIY FloodShield Audit: Self-guided resources only. FCN provides checklists, templates, and educational guides. We do not file, negotiate, or manage claims.

Done-for-You Flood Risk Audit: Advisory only. FCN reviews documents and provides recommendations. We do not contact insurers, adjusters, or contractors on your behalf.

FloodShield Signature Program: Comprehensive consulting support. FCN provides pre-flood preparation, documentation reviews, and strategy guidance. We do not act as your contractor, public adjuster, or attorney.

2. Insurance Neutrality

Our tools and services can be used with any flood insurance policy (private or government-backed). FCN does not sell, underwrite, or administer insurance policies.

3. No Guarantees

Use of FCN services or materials does not guarantee claim approval, reimbursement, or any specific outcome. Claim results depend on your policy terms, the circumstances of your loss, and your insurer’s processes.

4. No Legal, Tax, or Financial Advice

FCN is not a law firm or financial advisor. Our content is educational only. For legal, tax, or financial decisions, consult with a licensed professional.

5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and submissions.

You must meet all insurer deadlines and requirements.

Acting on FCN’s recommendations is your responsibility.

6. Eligibility & Limitations

Services are intended for commercial property owners and condominium associations.

FCN may decline or discontinue services if your needs fall outside our advisory role.

7. Communications & Support

DIY services include self-service materials only.

Advisory and consulting services are provided within the call schedules and scopes described in your agreement.

FCN does not communicate directly with insurers, adjusters, or contractors on your behalf.

8. Payments & Refunds

Fees are set out in your proposal or order form. Unless otherwise noted in writing, payments are non-refundable once work or access to materials has begun.

9. Intellectual Property

All FCN materials (toolkits, templates, guides, and website content) are owned by FCN. They may not be copied, shared, or redistributed without written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FCN is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. FCN’s total liability will not exceed the fees you paid for the service in question.

11. Changes to Terms

FCN may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version.

12. Acceptance

By purchasing or using any FCN service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer & Terms of Use.
